The Chloe Spring/Summer 2015 Runway Show was the one of the biggest hits of this year’s Paris Fashion Week. The show occurred on September 28, 2014 in Paris, France and was dedicated to Chloe’s original founder, Gaby Aghion, who passed away the day prior. Chloe’s creative director Clare Waight Keller produced an enchanting collection of ready-to-wear pieces. The collection had a strong bohemian theme, with a touch of urban edge for an unexpected twist. On the runway, you could see a multitude of spaghetti strap dresses with delicate lace details, lots of soft yet structured blazers and collared shirts, high-rise shorts and cropped pants. All of the models sported variations of the same type of strappy sandal wedge. The collection had a color palette of warm neutral tones; black, white, denim, nude, camel, navy,
terracotta, and lively pops of color like canary yellow
and aqua blue.
Some of the guests in the front row included: Ellie Goulding, Olivia Palmero, Chiara Ferragni, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, Rachel Zoe, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Patrick DeMarchelier. This diverse group of people makes it evident that people from all walks of life adore the Chloe brand. It is most definitely a universal favorite in the fashion industry!
Clare Waight Keller has done an excellent job in the continuation and evolvement of the Chloe brand since accepting her title of Creative Director in 2011. Chloe exudes casual French glamour with dreamy pieces that practically float down the runway. Keller states that for 2015 she wants the Chloe brand to represent the essence of being “powerfully feminine”. I can’t wait to see what she creates next!
