Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, sisters Pim, Matina and Kly Sukhahuta would play dress up as small children with one as the model, one as photographer, and the other as designer. They would eventually move to the New York where Pim studied fashion design, later starting her business in their shared apartment. Slowly but surely, Matina and Kly became increasingly involved with the brand, until they became full members in their own right.
Their familial dynamic combined with each sister’s individual talent, created the brand we see and admire today. As fun as the designs are, what is most laudable is their ability to maintain their sororal bonds while developing a business together. Of course, the expectations were set when “sisters” became the name of the business itself.

Sretsis, “Sisters” spelled backwards, is truly a family affair as it consists of three sisters each contributing her own special skills to form the popular brand. Eldest sister Kly acts as the Marketing Director of the brand, implementing her degree in magazine publishing. Middle sister Pim acts as Creative Director, overseeing designs of the apparel merchandise. Finally, youngest sister Matina is the jewelry and accessories designer.
The company offers a diverse selection of women’s apparel and accessories ranging from skirts and boots to sunglasses and backpacks. The Sretsis girl is a quirky kind of cute, with a lively spirit and a bold confidence that says it is perfectly normal to wear a roller blade printed skirt with matching earrings. Known for its kooky prints and playful silhouettes, Sretsis is an ultra-feminine, whimsical take on rebellious youth. This is likely the reason why style blogger Susie Bubble, singer Katy Perry, and actress Zooey Deschanel are all fans and repeat wearers of Sretsis designs.
