Menswear: Nick Grimshaw x Topman

If any of you remember, Kate Moss released her own amazing collection with Topshop a few years ago. The ads featured celebrities and friends of Kate Moss talking about her and the collection. Grimshaw, a friend of Moss, appeared in an ad saying “Kate and Topshop aren’t intimidating, but they still manage to be high fashion." First of all, I could not agree more. Second of all, I’d argue that with this collection under his belt, Nick Grimshaw is climbing his way up to the same status.

My favorite piece is by far the leopard overcoat. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, MEN LOOK KILLER IN LEOPARD PRINT. Yet, they often remain afraid to wear it (or any other “feminine” print) unless you’re Harry Styles and you wear a to-die-for St. Laurent leopard coat in the blazing dessert heat in your cool new music video. Fashion can mean sacrifice, people.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m obsessed with menswear. I spend almost as much time gawking over guy’s clothes as I do girls and my ultimate dream is to someday style males for a shoot (Any guy’s magazines out there that need a stylist assistant, holla!).

So, Nick Grimshaw–X Factor UK judge and BBC Radio 1 host–debuted his new collection for Topman and naturally, I am swooning. Not only do I love Grimmy and his hilarious interviews, but Topman always delivers.

Speaking of Harry Styles, he’s a huge fan of the collection, already sporting the looks. Are we even surprised?! He recently rocked my other favorite piece, the white paint splatter button-down.

Among the other pieces to shop are a black fringe jacket, leather sleeve bomber jacket, and a black leopard print skinny scarf.

Moral of the blog post: Boys out there, buy yourself some Nick Grimshaw x Topman. If not, a girl in your life most likely will. Girls, if there’s a piece you’re digging, buy it for yourself! Let’s be honest, I absolutely have my eyes set on that skinny scarf.
