It’s easy to look like you’re drowning in flared jeans, especially if they have a wider leg. To avoid the “they-didn’t-have-this-in-my-size-so-I-just-got-the-next-size-up” look, try pairing the jeans with tight fitting, easily tucked, or slightly cropped tops. This tactic also gives your legs the appearance that they’re a mile long and who doesn’t want that?
Regardless of how you wear the flared jean, you’re sure to look far out.

I am personally so happy that flared jeans are back in because when I was wearing them, they were totally not cool. I mean they look good on anyone, what’s not to like? There’s a number of ways you can wear these jeans, or rather, a number of items you can wear with these jeans. One of my favorites is of course the classic “Canadian” tuxedo look of denim on denim. The term may be kind of offensive to Canadians, (they’re so nice, they don’t deserve that) however it is difficult to resist that classic look. This can also be easily swapped out for a regular button-up top to give a total 70s vibe. Another top that looks great with the flares is a turtleneck. Top it off with a classic blazer type jacket or a statement piece such as a faux fur jacket or vest and you’re golden.
The shoes that you wear don’t really matter because you’re probably not going to see much of them. However, I do recommend wearing some type of heel to again, make your legs look longer. I like wearing my flares with some really cute high heel booties!
