As each season changes, new makeup trends come to be. One that many females (and males) are not taking advantage of is the ombre lip, which not only adds another element to making your lips look extra cool and different, but it also makes them appear more plump and full. While this lip technique looks complicated to achieve, it is extremely easy! There are multiple ways to get this sexy look, and in the most common cases, you only need two products: a darker or bolder lipstick and one lighter lipstick; one lipstick and a darker lipliner; a lipstick and a gloss; a lipliner and a gloss, and many, many more! Note, you can also use a darker powder to set the outside corners and/or liquid lipsticks, but I wanted to make this as simple as it could be.

Two Lipsticks Option/Lipstick and Liner/ Lipliner and Gloss Option 1:

Outline the boundaries of the lips with the darker color (generally lipstick or lipliner). In the center of the lips, apply the lighter color (lipstick or gloss). In order to make the outer corners a bit bolder, reapply the darker color and then blend with your finger or a brush. Try your best not to rub your lips together.

Lipliner and Lipstick Option 2:

If you’d like to use a lipliner and a lipstick, you can follow the exact same tutorial above, or you can follow these directions. Apply the lipstick to your entire lips. Then take the lipliner and fill the outer corner of your upper and bottom lips, and dab the corners with your fingers to blend the color out. You can go more involved by following the steps below, but it is excessive and unnecessary.
