Industry News Recap: Jourdan Dunn for Fluid World

We are in age where, if given the means and the inspiration, anyone can do anything. Child actresses become full-fledged pop stars, pop stars become international supermodels, and models become starry-eyed actresses (Cara Delevnigne in Paper Towns, anyone?). It is the circle of celebrity life, and it is never ending. And, Jourdan Dunn, British supermodel and Instagirl, is no exception. The model will soon be creating her very own line for children and young adults.

Storm Model Management, Dunn’s London modeling agency, set up the deal with Fluid World which describes itself as “a leading independent license agency” and launched the Hello Kitty brand in the UK. They claim that they are thrilled to be working with such an influential fashion icon. 

The deal will bring about a minimum of two clothing lines, which are said to include leggings, sweaters, jeans, jackets, basics, and accessories. The line will be just as edgy and fashion forward as Dunn’s own style while still remaining affordable.

“I love kid's clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born,” Dunn stated. “Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son, Riley. I am thrilled to be working with Fluid World, and I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.”

If the model’s own style selections are any indication, we’ll want to be getting our hands on this coveted line as soon as possible.
